CCDR-N
Integrated service in the Ministry of Urban Planning and Infrastructure and jointly supervised by the Ministry of the Environment, the North Regional Coordination and Development Commission (CCDR-N) is a public institution whose purpose is to develop integrated and sustainable North of Portugal, contributing to the competitiveness and cohesion of the national territory.
With the task of implementing the environmental, territorial and urban planning and regional development policies in the Northern Region (NUT II), it is also the responsibility of the CCDR-N to manage community programs funds from the European Union destined for Portugal, as in the case of NORTH 2020.
